What do developing a spread sheet, shooting a movie, analyzing literature, and interning in New York have in common? They are all part of the academic opportunities you could encounter as you earn your Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Electronic Media.

Your first year will include introductory courses in aesthetics, media history, and digital technologies. You’ll also start work on the liberal arts classes which make up an important part of your education.

During your sophomore year, you should take media writing, media research, and start the audio, video and digital production classes. You’ll take marketing, communications and fine arts courses.

By the time you’re a junior or senior, you’ll go more deeply into your major with opportunities to explore digital production, journalism, or the business side of the media. You’ll want to do an internship with a media company that offers you the chance to get a preview on your future and network with people who can help you.

You can make much of your years with us. But it’s not just about the degree. Our best students are active outside of the classroom.  Explore all of the opportunities we offer.
Your future is up to you.
