DePietro's Award Winning Work

A website created under the direction of Peter DePietro, assistant professor of Electronic Media, won a prestigious award this month.
And the website was for a very well-known client---former President Bill Clinton.
The award by the Interactive Media Awards recognizes as Best in Class in the Museum Category the website for the William J. Clinton Presidential Center. Professor DePietro also directed the development of the new website for the Clinton Foundation.
Before coming to UC in January, Professor DePietro was a web designer and developer in New York City. Most recently he worked as Director of Digital and New Media at the Clinton Foundation. In that capacity he selected a creative agency, Blenderbox of New York City, to work with a team from the Clinton Foundation in developing the websites.
"I worked with a lot of the people at the Foundation who were part of the Clinton administration in Washington, Professor DePietro said.
"They collaborated with me in making the final decisions for the websites, with a strong sense of what would be appropriate for the mission of the Foundation founded by President Clinton."
Professor DePietro has a letter from President Clinton thanking him for his work at the Foundation and wishing him well on his transition to Cincinnati.
