Dr. Wolfram Donates Books

In anticipation of his retirement at the end of December 2009, E-Media Division Head, Dr. Manfred Wolfram, donated his collection of books to the electronic media department at Raymond Walters College (RWC).
His collection of more than 700 books and media items was packed up and shipped to Blue Ash, to the library of the branch campus. The collection includes 637 books, 124 pamphlets and technical guides, plus monographs, and historic video materials.
Dr. Wolfram said the library at RWC would be a better home for the materials than the CCM library, "where the focus would be more on the music.”
Faculty from media department at RWC and from the E-Media Division are working closely together now and an agreement is now in place to increase the flow of students from one college to the other.
Dr. Wolfram says his donation is illustrates his interest in uniting the two programs.
A ceremony was held at Raymond-Walters on May 27 to accept the donation and honor the achievements of Dr. Wolfram.
Many of the donated books will be housed in the general collection of the RWC Library in Muntz Hall. More specialized items will be in the library of the Electronic Media Communications department.
